How can we ensure and test the Successfull Installation of RSA AAOP 7.3
I have installed the below modules for RSA 7.3 version as mentioned below and deployed it on Tomcat server. Now, I just want to validate the successful installation of my core and back office application module, which I am not sure how can I do it. Attached is the screenshots of the modules and the screen I am getting for them.
1. Core Database on MS SQL Server 2012.
2. Back Office Database on MS SQL Server 2012.
3. Core Application (AdaptiveAuthentication / AdaptiveAuthenticationAdmin / scheduler ) on an AIX box.
4. Back Office Application (accessmanagement) on an AIX box.

Looking at the screenshot, AdaptiveAuthenticaton, accessmanagement and scheduler installation does not seem to be successful. Please provide us with the logs (aa_server.log, aa_server.alarm.log, accessmanagement.log and aa_scheduler.log) to identify the cause of the failure.
Also I would recommend you open a case with our Help Desk, 800-995-5095 or email@example.com , so that we could work with you further.
I have attached the log in my original attached section. Can you please review and help me to resolve this issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Regarding Adaptive Authentication installation not successful is because the application is not able to find the location of the geoip file. First you need to bring up BackOffice application and update the geoip file and Channel Determination in the External Data Providers component. These files comes with the installer, once you unzip the installer package it should be in External-Data-Providers directory.
There are three directories staging, database and archive, you need to update the location of these directories from the server running AdaptiveAuthentication, please refer to the screenshot.
Additional details are available in RSA Adaptive Authentication(on Premise) Operations Guide page External Data Providers Parameters page 55.
You need to update the location of these directories in BackOffice and then save and publish.
Restart Tomcat running BackOffice and Adaptive Authentication and then test.
Regarding case management application installation failure is because Tomcat is not able to find the data-source CMDB.
Please make sure you have the data-source configured in Tomcat server.xml and you have executed all the database scripts related to Case management.
Let me know if you have any further questions and if you still have issues after making these changes.
As I mentioned earlier that I had opt the custom option during my installation and had installed only (AdaptiveAuthetication / AdpativeAutheticationAddmin and scheduler for core application) and (accessmanagemnt for Back Office application). Currently we are using RSA 184.108.40.206 SP22P1 version and trying to upgrade it to RSA AAOP 7.3. In our old version we are having only the above mentioned module and that's why I opted only these modules during installation.
Now, I tried to do my installation again by adding the (Administration Console, Policy Management and Customer Services) option as well for Back Office Application and which added one backoffice.war file for this option. I deployed the backoffice.war on Apache with others war file but backoffice.war is not running there as shown in below screenshot. I am attaching the backoffice.log as well.
Also, when I am accessing the link (http://host:8080/accessmanagement/main.jsp) and providing the credential I mentioned during core and back office database and application setup as a application username and password, I am getting the authentication issue.Even I am not able to access any of the login page I can see with those credentials. Can you please advise me on this how I can come out from this issue. Please advise.
Thanks & Regards
Please let me know what is the version of Java that you are using and what is the version of AAOP?
I see the below exceptions in the logs and it is due to unsupported Java version.
I would highly recommend you open a case firstname.lastname@example.org
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name '(inner bean)#26': Initialization of bean failed; nested exception is org.aspectj.apache.bcel.classfile.ClassFormatException: File: 'java.lang.CharSequence': Invalid byte tag in constant pool: 18
I am installing RSA AAOP 7.3 version and below is the detail of Application server where I am deploying the .war files.
One thing I noticed was that while running the installer file AA-OnPrem.220.127.116.11.0.Unix.Installer.sh it was picking the java5 version from my environment and same you can see in my install.zip attached in the first attachment. Do you think it could be the issue? Also, if I will be successfully able to install backoffice than what are the credentials I have to use to login in to the backoffice application?
Can you please provide me the process of opening the case with RSA, what all details I have required for the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Looks like you are using Java 8, Java 8 is not supported by AAOP 7.3.
You need to use Java 7 or upgrade AAOP to 7.3 P1 to use Java 8.
Please find detailed instructions in the doc to open cases with our support team
Thanks a lot Jasmine for your help & support. I have installed the java 7 and now the backoffice also installed and deployed successfully. Now my last query is how to get an access to the login page of the all installed modules. Currently I am using the credential which I have added in the as a datasource in Tomcat server.xml file. Also, I have used the same credentials during application installation core and backoffice database property setup. I used the same credential as a Application username and password but now unable to use them while using it on the login page of each module. Can you please help me to get an access to all the login pages which credential I have to use or is there any way to create a new credential by the accessing the core and backoffice databases directly. Please advise?
The default credential for fresh installation is admin/admin, after login the application will force you to change the password. If this is an upgrade you need to use the same credentials that you were using to login to BackOffice before the upgrade.
