Issue

AxM: cleartrust.agent.dispatcher_mode=RANDOMIZED isn't working as expected, it always selects last host listed in the dispatcher_list specified in webagent.conf

The webagent 4.7.0.23 version for IIS has been deployed with the variable cleartrust.agent.dispatcher_mode=RANDOMIZED set in webagent.conf.  It is not working as expected. It always chooses the last dispatcher specified in the webagent.confs dispatcher_list

Resolution

This issue has been corrected in the following hotfix

Issue Fixed:

  Bug 105708 - "Request latest build of IIS 4.7 agents for dispatcher
                randomization fix"

Description:

  Customer requested the latest RSA Access Manager Agent 4.7 binary for IIS 6.0
  webserver.

  This hotfix provides the latest RSA Access Manager Agent 4.7 binary for
  IIS 6.0 webserver.

Contents:

  windows/ct_iis60_agent.dll            IIS 6 Agent

Installation Instructions:

  1. Stop the web server.
  2. Move to the directory where the current agent libraries are located,
     usually this is <INSTDIR>/lib.
  3. Back up or remove the existing agent libraries.
  4. Copy in the new libraries for your particular platform.
  5. Restart the web server.

This hotfix can be picked up at  ftp.rsasecurity.com/support/hotfixes/accmgr/agents/4.7/ct-agent-4.7.0.34.zip
