Issue
When trying to create the lockbox file the following error is thrown:
Error: -58 LockBox::initLockbox : The Lockbox or cryptography library could not be found.
This may lead one to believe they have incorrectly specified the location of the lockbox cst folder.
Cause
The above error message has been attributed to a corrupted libcryptocme.sig file.
In the customer environment, the unix/linux installation package that includes the lockbox files was unpacked on a windows system and copied over to the linux system.
A difference in file size led to this finding
The file size of the non-corrupted libcryptocme.sig file was
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2638 Nov 17 14:38 libcryptocme.sig
The file size of the corrupted libcryptocme.sig file was
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2679 Nov 26 2013 libcryptocme.sig
Resolution
The solution is to unzip the installation package on the machine it will be installed on or a similar operating system
