Add Devices

Is there any way we can add bundle or group of devices using a CSV or excel file with relevant information or do we need only XML file to upload the info

Be more specific please. What kind of devices, how do you plan to get the events to envision: Windows API, syslog, SNMP, file upload? You might not need to worry about it depending on your device type.

If i need to add 50 Routers into envision i need to do it manually or use an XML, I have least amount of idea on XML. I will be glad if you can help me to find an alternate option like an Excel or CSV file....and try import the device details to envision , Hope you got my problem... Please help

There is no alternate option like an Excel or CSV file.

You need to read each device pdf to understand how to integrate them into enVision. By instance, for a Cisco router you need to set up each router (syslog and/or snmp) to send logs to enVision and it will recognize them automatically if the enVision has the event source updated.

I apologize for the long delayed response. Your routers using syslog will 'auto discover' in a default environment. But if you want to upload details (location, admin, asset ID) you cannot via the GUI. There are folks who might be able to script something to do this but I have not done it before and suspect you will have to engage professional services if it is in fact possible.
