Can't open Dell Server Administrator - Port 1311 blocked?
We reimaged some remote collectors, and built a new one last week. I can't open the Dell Server Administrator on the new one.
I get the standard "page cannot be displayed" message. Address bar says it's trying to go to https://site-rc1:1311. Netstat says that 1311 isn't listening.
1311 is listening on my other servers, and I can open the Dell Server Administrator.
- Is there a service that uses 1311 that might not be running?
- How would I reenable 1311 to listening?
Check IE settings? add to safe zones?
from CLI you can bounce the RAC module by doing a "racadm reset soft" or /hard
Make sure that is correct on the syntax too, going off of memory at 2AM.
Verify the software got installed correctly?
Try powerdown the system, unplug the cables and hold power button for 30 seconds (Heard that resets the backplane)
Just try a few things, hope this helps.
Mike Giuliano helped on this. He had me look here, C:\program files (x86)\dell\sysmgt\iws\logs.
It showed a bunch of invalid cipher suite errors. I had made a pasting error when I hardened the DRAC cipher suites at C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\SysMgt\iws\config\keystore.ini.
Once I corrected this, the DSM SA Connection service started, and I could use the Server Administrator ap.
