Changing device name in Message Tab

Hello,

I need to change a customized parser device name that somebody in the team has developed long time ago.

I am using an ES appliance,need to know what are the changes I need to make so that I can change the device name.

You will need to use the UDS tool on the ES appliance to change this.  This is a decent amount of work to get it done, you will need to create and import the device type and make sure you edit the xml file of that device back to what it was orginally.  More information can be found on SCOL in the UDS pdf file.
