Collect event user information from Blue Coat servers

Can any one Suggest please, how to create report for Blue Coat server which will provide infromation of event user.

Hello Sandeep,

We already have a number of BlueCoat reports ready out of the box.   In enVision, look under Ad Hoc Reports >> Hosts >> Web Logs >> Blue Coat/Blue Coat ELFF.

Typically, these report by client address as opposed to a username.

Hi all,

concerning BlueCoat only, some Internal Policies required that by default, NO SPECIFIC USER Information appears on any View and Reports on enVision.

Only actions started from the management with the presence of the User, can allow the Search or Query to display specific User Name or UserID in a report.

Does anyone has implemented such features ?

Hi Gabriel,

If I understand your question correctly, you wish to run a BlueCoat report without displaying the username?

All of the enVision report templates are read-only.  These reports can be copied, renamed, and modified.  When you select modify, you have the ability to select specific fields from the BlueCoat logs.  You could select all of them except username or whichever fields you desire.

You can also take those new reports and lock permissions for users to see them only, and not see or be able to run the reports that have the user names in them...
