Full Backups

With the process NI have put in place to create the DVD backup is this backing up the entire system, including all of the log files, or just the OS and if the system crashes I lose the data?

Is there a way to back up the entire system?

We now support the following backup clients to do full backups of enVision:

EMC Legato NetWorker Client
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Windows Client
Veritas Net Backup Client
CA BrightStor ARCserve Client

and we take requests to certify more backup agents, please post them here.

The certification process is really a formality, we have not rejected an agent yet, nor required any changes.  The reason we certify is so that our support group will not ask you to remove that agent in the course of troubleshooting an issue but all backup agents we have seen so far are very well behaved.

Does this back up the data as well? or just the configuration files?

Is there a Doc which tells me what to backup?

What about purging the data after the backup.  We are at 75% capacity

What about restoring the data for reporting
