How to change default username & password of RSA enVision ES appliance

I want to know a procedure to change default user name and password of RSA enVision ES appliance with external storage.

Since its a running all roles within the DC, change the active directory and computers user account passwords. (Re-cache the one you are logged in with). Then, start-> run -> services.msc (re-cache the passwords running the nic_system NIC services, I.E. NIC COLLECTOR.

Stop and start the nic service manager. Pending they all started correctly, the passwords have been changed. Next you need to re-cache the WINSSHD NIC SFTP and NIC SSHD user accounts inside the control panel - > WINSSHD panel. Change that.

You are all set. regarding the IPDB, long as you are running iSCSI, no username/password change required. Only if you have encryption/CHAP enabled on the DAS, then might want to check out changing that.

what if I just want to change the default master password as of now. Do I need to change any password on IPDB or the NAS storage. Also pls assist me in doing so.

There are a lot of other passwords you need to change. For your quick answer: AD users and computer, reset password, control alt delete to re-cache. Then control alt delete, and replace computer with your NAS IP (CIFS Server). and reset the password there. That will change the password. There also is documentation on changing passwords available as well as PS runs with powershell scripts to assist in changing passwords.
