How to generate report on successful authentications from RSA enVision?
We are using RSA enVision which is configured to collect logs from RSA Access Manager Log server. So, is there a way we can configure a report in RSA enVision or by any other way we can get the required information (IP Address of the end user's machine who accessed an application integrated with RSA Access Manager) from the RSA enVision.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi UsmanAli Shaik
You can create an AddHoc report using the Access Control Security table as input and selecting the field that you require.
Use the correct Message ID to filter, the results.

Thanks for your reply. Let me put here the exact cleint requirement.
There was a controctor who has been terminated from the services. But still he could access one of the business critical application which has been integrated with RSA Access Manager and performed some unbarred action. This happened because of some miss communication with respective department to deactivate the His/Her accounts(e.g. RSA SecurID account which is set for two factor authentication for that business application).
Now client wants know that user's workstation IP from which he accessed the application?
Your help will be relly appreciated..
Thanks and Regards,
UsmanAli Shaik.

Hi UsmanAli,
Due to the high priority of this: Run event viewer querys before you work on the report
If your contractor are running windows machine (95% of people use this) and authenticate againts your Active Directory, they are some of windows events that could help you to detect his IP addresses any time.
Windows 528 for succesful Logon (Local) or Windows 540 for network succesful Logon for windows XP
or Windows 4624 in Windows Vista, 7 or 8.
Example of Windows 4624 message:
%NICWIN-4-Security_4624_Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing: Security,rn=580163688 cid=0x00003100 eid=0x00001210,Mon Dec 17 14:25:47 2012,4624,Microsoft-Windows-Security-Auditing,None,Success Audit,name_of_the_AD_machine,Logon,,An account was successfully logged on. It is generated on the computer that was accessed. The subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe. The logon type field indicates the kind of logon that occurred. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network). The New Logon fields indicate the account for whom the new logon was created, i.e. the account that was logged on. The network fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases. The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request. - Logon GUID is a unique identifier that can be used to correlate this event with a KDC event. - Transited services indicate which intermediate services have participated in this logon request. - Package name indicates whic
In the case of Windows 4624 you have the IP address directly, but for Windows 528 or 540 you can use the Logon ID field to trace all the session activity for that user and get his IP address.
Hope this Help.

Hi DelfinAbzueta,
The contractor is accessing the target application by authenticating with RSA SecurID Token not by Active DIrectory Account.
Thanks for your quick response and valuable technical information. Really too good and helpful.

Usman
