HPUX intergration

I am trying to integrate HPUX with RSA envsion . Now RSA only support syslog for hpux . I need a suggestion for third party agent like epilog snare which will capture the application log at hpux and send it to envision .

Currently hpux is not supported by epilog snare.

Hi addicto,

HP_UX integration with RSA enVision is native using syslog.

Epilog Snare is not supported by RSA enVision, if you want to integrate it, you must develop the package to add it to RSA enVision.

If you have an application server running into the HP_UX box try to config that application server to send logs to RSA enVision machine directly.

Some of the most common application servers are supported by RSA enVision natively. (SAP, APACHE, TOMCAT, etc).

Remember config the HP_UX box devices as a Multi Device in System Configuration ---> Manage Monitored Device in RSA EnVision Panel.
