Monitoring of enVision
We are about to implement proper monitoring of the machine and its services to detect failures. Most probably we will send SNMP to the main enterprise system monitoring console (Spectrum) if enVision fails somehow. What we are not sure of is which enVision services should we monitor for a minimum. I noticed that there are a number of correlated alerts related to filereader services and other services fails, but which should be used and which not? I think the default NIC_VIEW is too noicy to be able to use it for this kind of monitoring and the levels are not configurable either.
Or what is your thoughts and experiences regarding this? Any response regarding how monitoring have been implemented would be appreciated.
Thanks.

HI Pwaattov,
I would suggest you monitor all of the NIC Services.
You only should omit one if you are not using it, like Check Point LEA.
Best Regards,
Alan
