Nessus vulnerability database integration
Hi ,
I am new to this community and have a query related to nessus vulnerability database integration with enVision. wanted to check if someone has integrated nessus vulnerability database ( client version - 3.0.6.1 ) into rsa envision ?
I could get the data (output files in xml )from the nessus into the rsa envision local collector , but envision is failing to recognize the device and due to this reason the device is not getting listed in the managed monitor devices list.
Another thing which i hav observed is , i don't see the device folder existing for nessus under /etc/devices folder on the envision local collector.
Please let me know if i am missing anything. I would really appreciate your support on this
Thanks
Satish

Hi,
The Nessus data Envision collects is the asset vulnerability information for other assets that are being collected by Envision. This is why you don't see a content directory for that device within the devices folder.
You will need to configure an asset collector for Nessus. The instructions for that are documented here: https://knowledge.rsasecurity.com/docs/rsa_env/device_config/Nessus.pdf
Cheers
