New UDS and UNKNOWN messages
Hi,
We are made a new UDS to extend some unknown messages for Apache WebServer.
Using uds.exe tool, seems that parse is correct for this new messages.
Now we want that OLD UNKNONW messages been recognized by the new UDS, after some search on the forum we found that is posible using lsmaint -rebuild... but we execute the command and nothing seem to happens .. seems that the execution correctly ends but the device is not currently recognized with the new UDS... any idea?
Thanks in advance

First: You can't put messages that were discoverd as UNKNOWN DEVICE in a known device. If
they were unknown messages in a know device:
Lsmaint –rebuild all –time start now –devicetype <devicetype> -device <deviceip>
Look in at the IPDB files (that you try to rebuild) and check "Date Modified" field of the files. When they change to the current date/time the rebuild process has don't its work (exep the *.dat files)
If it doens't find the "device" restart the Locator service (leave it for let say an hour) end try again.
Still no luck :
Please do not perform this in you production enviroment
Pi_ls_locator –d –discover –newguid –verbose
It rediscovers your devices and checks the timespan of tou IPDB files
