NIC-3-505300 - LSIndex error: Load Parser failed during index generation

Hi,

We keep getting these messages:

%NIC-3-505300: LSIndex, LSIndex, -, -, -, -, Detail: 3532: Load Parser trendmicro Failed during Index Generation of D:\tmp\nuggets\trendmicro\10.30.2.150\5091369c_10.30.2.150.nug

We are running envision 4.0 SP4 patch 7 with the latest VAM and ESU applied.

The trendmicro collection method is snmp traps.

If we pull the raw messages and parse them against the xml file they parse ok.

But they do not parse on the collector and we get the above error.

Has anyone encountered this kind of error?

Hi Bogdan,

Yes, I did encounter this kind of errors. I tried restarting all the services on collector which did not fix the problem, just guessing may be some pointers to parsers.

I rebooted the collector and this problem had gone. So now generally, I made it my practice to reboot the servers after updating the ESU/OS Patches/Hostfixes/SPs which makes it clean implementation and everything works as desired.

thanks for your answer.

I've restarted all services accross all appliances (including the Database services) and I still get this error.

I'm looking at the pi_webserver.log, see if I can spot something in there.
