NIC Alerter Service Latency
It seems like I'm having an issue with latency with loading the alert views in the Real-Time window. I keep getting an error message when I click on my views in real-time (see attachment). All the Global Alert columns are yellow and there is an error box stating that it is unable to connect to this view on the Site that it resides and that although it cannot connect it will continue to attempt a connection every 300 seconds. It then lists several possible problems, though I have checked every one of them and they don't seem to be the issue. Then, at times, they start to slowly, one-by-one, go green. I have opened a ticket with Tech Support several days ago and I keep getting dribs of responses from them but basically they have not been much help to this point.
Could this be happening because of:
a) The csd folder is on the E: drive and not on the drive on the DAS
b) There are empty folders in the viewdatacache folder
Has anyone seen this issue before?

Try typing this on the envision appliance:
lsdata -ss
It will give you information on all the services but it can be specially useful to determine which view is causing latency.
lsdata -ss | FINDSTR "BehindTime" will show you the latency in seconds for all the views.

Dusan
