NIC server currently unavailable
The "NIC Server is not available" means that the App server is not able to establish connection to the DB server. Here in RSA envision we use services that are persistent in nature, that means if any service you start will not restart by itself. you will have to start it manually.
Step 1. Log in to the DB Server -> goto services.msc -> stop the "NIC DB Server" (if it is already stopped, skip)
Step 2 Stop the "NIC Service Manager Service" -> you will see all the nic services are stopped.
Step 3 Now first start the "NIC DB Server", once this service is started then start "NIC Service Manager Service"
Step 4 Make sure all the nic services are started except "NIC DCHP Polling Service"(if your not using dhcp) and "NIC DB Replication Client" service
Step 5 Make sure that TCP Port 2010 is open from your desktop to DB Server. Try Telnet <DB Server IP> 2010
I got a problem related to envision nic web server in A-srv, I just restart the server and got that NIC web server service is down then I try to restart it but got an error message see that I am attaching with this mail. Then I just see the webserver log and found that it showing error :44 lockbox file not found, I am also sending you log. i also try to restart the NIc service manager but got same output.
