I don't know why RSA configures such a small amount of space for the C drive, especially since each new Windows OS consumes more and more space. They should have increased the size so we're not running out of space every few months.
Two things you can re-configure to help out though:
Move one of the swap files to the E drive. Leave a small one, maybe 800MB on C, and a much larger one, maybe 4GB on E.
Also, for some unknown reason, RSA has configured the appliances, to archive Windows event logs rather than to simply overwrite. The logs are collected and stored in the IPDB, so I see no reason to archive them on the appliances. You may want to delete your archived event logs, then go into Server Manager and change the properties on each event log to overwrite instead of archive. By default, my event logs were set for 81MB. My collectors are very busy, and were archiving the Security event log almost daily.
Hope that helps.
You can try the below steps to find out where the space is taken up;
Go to My Computer on the appliance
Right click on C: drive and click on Properties
Click on the Tools tab in the new window
Click on the Defragment Now and when the new window opens, click on Analyze
Once the analysis is done, there will be a prompt. Click on the View Report
The report will be opened in a new window. You can save the same by clicking on "Save As..."
Once saved, you can open the report and get to know the files which are occupying huge space by which you can arrive at cleaning them seamlessly !!
