Can we have fullfillment for single approval of multiple group owners
We have change requests to add an user to multiple groups (different group owners). Can we process fulfillment on approved ones without waiting until all group owners' approval?

Interesting question, however I doubt that this is currently possible unless each group add has it's own specific change request... Or with some very ugly workaround that wouldn't make anyone happy.

right. I think one would need to have that kind of CR go straight into the Fulfillment phase and then split that WF by group/group-owner. Approvals would then be accomplished by activity nodes.
another approach could be to have shorter escalation times on the approvals with faster delegation of items to more responsive approvers. And one could also start asking the tough questions: why are people not doing their work if approvals are so time-critical...?

My exact thoughts on that Frank, not something I'd like to introduce into my own workflows.

Thanks, I probably will try it.
Also do you know if there is anyway I can filter out on the change request items for the emails sent to the group owner to approval? Using ${ContextObjectDesc} will have change request items including all groups with different group owners.
