Office 365 Account Collector – Block Size Parameter
Under the office 365 Account Collector configuration , there is parameters called “block size” .
I Didn’t find any explanation about this parameter, and what is the recommend value for it.
Currently , in the organization I’m testing the connector for , there are about 6000 account and 9000 groups
The average account data collection step inside the collector ( without processing ) takes nearly 10:30 hours .
Does changing the “block size” parameters Can improve and shorten the collection times ?

Hi Eyal,
Block size is kinda like paging and increasing it should see a decrease in your collection times as per: 000037319 - Microsoft Office365 Account Data Collector (ADC) takes a long time to complete in RSA Id...
The recommended size according to that article is 10,000
What version of IGL are you running?
Kind regards,
Craig

The only documentation for "Block Size" for the Office 365 collector is the Tool Tip for the setting. It does not provide much more detail unfortunately.
Number of records to be fetched from powershell server in one call
The recommendation is to use a Block Size that is similar in magnitude to the number of Accounts. If you are using the default value of 10,000 then you are already at the optimal setting for 6000 accounts. Decreasing the Block Size will increase collection times. Unfortunately increasing the Block Size higher than 10,000 is unlikely to improve times significantly.
You are of course free to try different settings.
The problem here I expect is the number of groups returned and there may not be an easy solution.
