Introduction
RSA MFA Agent for Microsoft Windows leverages the RSA Cloud Authentication Service and SecurID Authentication Manager provide strong multifactor authentication (MFA) to users signing into Windows, both online and offline.
It provides multiple authentication options for users, along with features that improve user productivity and security during Windows sign-in.
Key features include:
- Enable the journey to the cloud with the unified MFA Agent that can connect to both Cloud Authentication Service and SecurID Authentication Manager to unlock various MFA options depending on business needs.
- REST-based agent that addresses security and compliance needs with strong crypto algorithms that support FIPS 140-2.Uninterrupted access to boost productivity with offline emergency access.
- Enable users to do more with self-service features such as offline days management, customization of MFA Agent interfaces, and quick access to help links.
- Empower administrators with new configuration and control settings to better manage load-balancing and fail-over mechanisms, user access with challenge groups, and password order changes.
Direct migration from the Authentication Agent 7.4 or later to MFA Agent is supported. Easy upgrade path is supported between different version of the MFA Agent for Microsoft Windows. Please refer to the documentation for further information
