Blocks Edit - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - RSA Ready SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate RSA SecurID Access with Blocks Edit using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Blocks Edit.

Procedure

    1. Sign into the RSA Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

    2. Click on +Create From Template.

    3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Blocks Edit Then click on Next Step.

    4. On Connection Profile page.

        1. Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Initiated.

        1. In Connection URL field leave the default value.

        2. Scroll down to SAML Identity Provider (Issuer) section.

        3. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Blocks Edit.

        4. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download

        5. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle

        6. Select Choose File and upload the cert.pem from the generated certificate bundle.

        7. Select Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion

        1. Scroll down to Service Provider section

        2. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS), enter the Single sign on URL from Blocks Edit. For example, https://580.app.blocksedit.com/sso.

        3. Enter the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) enter the Entity ID from Blocks Edit configuration.For example, https://sso.blocksedit.com.

        1. Scroll down to User Identity section

        2. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail

      1. Expand the Show Advanced Configuration.

      2. Click Next Step

    5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step

    1. On Portal Display Page

      1. Select Display in Portal

      2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish

      3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

      4. Click on Save and Finish.

    2. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Blocks Edit

Perform these steps to integrate Blocks Edit with RSA SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into Blocks Edit as Admin and browse ProfileMy Account.

  2. Scroll down to Integrations and click on Add adjacent to Single Sign-On.

  3. For Name enter an name.

  4. For Identity Provider select Custom.

  5. Under Service provider SAML section note the Entity ID and Single sign on URL. These are used above in the CAS configuration.

  6. Under Identity provider SAML section enter for the Entity ID field enter the value for the Issuer Entity ID obtained above. For example, zxuewhj1o8yx.

  7. For the Single sign on URL field enter the value for the Identity Provider URL obtained above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=zxuewhj1o8yx

  8. For the X.509 Certificate upload the cert.pem file created in the certificate bundle in the RSA Cloud Authentication Service (CAS) above.

  9. Click on Save Settings.

Configuration is complete.
