Questetra BPM - SAML SSO Agent Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate SecurID Access with Questetra BPM using a SAML SSO Agent.

Configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service(CAS) as an SSO Agent SAML IdP to Questetra BPM.

Procedure

  1. Sign into the SecurID Access Cloud Administration Console and browse to Applications > Application Catalog.

  2. Search for Questetra BPM then click on Add.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Questetra BPM Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Connection Profile page.

      1. Choose IDP-Initiated or SP-Initiated. Note: The following IDP-initiated configuration works for SP-initiated as well.

    1. In Connection URL field leave the defaults.
    2. Note the Identity Provider URL and Issuer Entity ID. These values are automatically generated. They may be needed later for the configuration of Questetra BPM.

    3. Click on Generate Cert Bundle, set a a common name for your company certificate. Then click Generate and Download .

    4. Select Choose File and upload the private key from the generated certificate bundle.

    5. Select Choose File and upload the public cert from the generated certificate bundle. This is the cert.perm file.

    6. Uncheck Include Certificate on Outgoing Assertion. (optional)

    7. Scroll down to Service Provider section.

    8. For the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) enter the ASC URL from Questetra BPM SP information in the SSO setup below. This URL is based on your <INSTANCE> of Questetra BPM. For example, https://mytestenv.questetra.net/saml/SSO/alias/bpm..

    9. For the Audience (Service Provider Issuer ID) enter the Enitity from Questetra BPM SP information in the SSO setup below. This URL is based on your <INSTANCE> of Questetra BPM. For example, https://mytestenv.questetra.net/.

    10. Scroll down to User Identity section.

    11. Ensure Identifier Type = Email Address, set your Identity Source and Property = mail.

    12. Click Next Step.

  5. On User Access page select the Access Policy you require. Allow All Authenticated Users is the least restrictive. Click Next Step.

  6. On Portal Display Page.

    1. Select Display in Portal.

    2. Upload an Application Icon if you wish.

    3. Set an Application Tooltip if you wish.

    4. Click on Save and Finish.

  7. For this new Connector, click on the down arrow next to the Edit button and Export Metadata to save off the IDP metadata information for configuration of .

  8. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Questetra BPM

Perform these steps to integrate Questetra BPM as an SSO Agent SAML SP to SecurID Access Cloud Authentication Service.

Procedure

  1. Login into Questetra BPM https://<instance>.questetra.net/Login_show.

  2. Under Username choose System Settings.

  3. Select SSO (SAML).

  4. Check Enable Single Sign-On and make sure Disable Password Authentication is unchecked.

  5. Goto the SP Information section.

  6. Note the Entity ID and ASC URL these will be used above in the SecurID CAS configuration.

  7. Goto the IdP Configuration section.

  8. For Entity ID provide the Identity Provider Entity ID from the above in the SecurID CAS configuration. For example, https://rsa-test-pe.auth-demo.securid.com/saml-fe/sso.

  9. For Sign-In page URL  provide the Identity Provider Entity ID from the above in the SecurID CAS configuration. For example, https://rsa-test-pe.auth-demo.securid.com/saml-fe/sso.

  10. Leave the NameID format blank.

  11. For Verification Certificate copy and paste the certificate downloaded above in the SecurID CAS configuration. Exclude the begin/end comments in the certificate.

  12. Click on Save .

     

Configuration is complete.
