We are running RSA authentication manager 8.2 and aiming to backup log messages to a remote syslog server. The administrators guide states log backups have to go to a Unix or Linux syslog.
however I found a document for RSA authentication manager 7.4 showing how to send logs to a windows syslog server by editing a underlying Linux file
My question is would editing the same file allow us to send logs from 8.2 to a windows syslog server
