Hi John - the restriction will be for jailbroken devices. No other restrictions that I'm aware of.
Hope that helps,
Ted

The release date is always subject to change so I cannot give you a specific date. That being said, I'd keep an eye out because it will be very soon. I'd be sure to follow https://community.rsa.com/community/products/securid/advisories, including the Inbox option so you get the announcement by email when it is released.

Erica

Thank you. I did receive the advisory email that its release will be within January 2020. I was just wondering what the release meant by "
The upcoming release of RSA SecurID Authenticate 3.2 for iOS will begin enforcing device compliance by preventing app use on jailbroken devices. Users will be presented with relevant messages on screen and use of the app will be prevented.
"
I was hoping to see how they determine that a device is compliant. Is it just preventing Jailbroken devices or are there other restrictions?

Thank you for the quick response. Is this feature already on the Android app, if not are there plans to introduce some device compliance restrictions on it as well?

The also soon-to-be-released Authenticate App version 3.2 for Android will have the same jailbreak detection feature.
