RHEL 6.9 is supported from RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.0 for PAM?
I need to ask to you this question:
In the RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.0 for PAM Release Notes I have read the indication under here:
Support for RHEL. The following RHEL operating systems are supported by this release:
• RHEL 6.8: 32-bit and 64-bit
• RHEL 7.1: 64-bit
• RHEL 7.3 64-bit
If, as in this case, I don't see RHEL 6.9, what means please?
It means that RSA PAM AGENT 8.0 this version don't support RHEL 6.9 or I can use this pam aent that supports from RHEL 6.8 to 7.1?
Thanks a lot for your attention and Regards.
I've moved your question to the RSA SecurID Access" data-type="space space where it will be seen by the product's support engineers, other customers and partners. Please bookmark this page and use it when you have product-specific questions.
Alternatively, from the RSA Customer Support" data-type="space page, click on Ask A Question on the blue navigation bar and choose . From there, scroll to RSA SecurID Access" data-type="space and click Ask A Question. That way your question will appear in the correct space.
Since RSA has not officially qualified the RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.0 for PAM on RHEL 6.9, we will not be able to support the agent installed on that OS.
If you would like us to qualify RHEL 6.9, you can submit your request via the RSA Ideas for RSA SecurID Access space for consideration in a future release.
Please note that RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.1 for PAM has been qualified with RHEL 6.10, as documented in the RSA SecurID Authentication Agent 8.1 for PAM Release Notes.
