Myth 8: Dispelling The Myths around Software Tokens

Software tokens cannot work with my custom application.  Myth shattered.

The software development toolkit, SDK to make life simpler, allows you to build the software token functionality into your custom mobile app.  The SDK allows for seamless, strong two factor authentication.

Here's how it works:  The user opens the application, enters his or her user name and SecurID PIN.  The PIN kicks off to an embedded software token and behind the scenes, generates a one time passcode (OTP to you and me).  The OTP is sent to the RSA Authentication Manager server and voilà!  The user is authenticated.
