Administrators can control access to resources by associating restricted agents with user groups. Users who are not members of an associated user group cannot use the restricted agent to authenticate. If you use provisioning and restricted agents, you can select the user groups hat you want to make available to users when they enroll in self-service.
User groups determine which restricted agents a user can access for authentication. The user groups that you select are displayed on the Self-Service Console. If you do not select any user groups, the user group selection page does not display during enrollment.
