2 Authentication management server, 1 license

Jump to solution

Hello,

I want to ask something concerning the use of licenses. A client has a production environment with 1 primary partition and 1 replica partition  with the authentication manager 8.1 version and they want to upgrade them, but first in a test environment with a new primary. For this test, we are going to install the new machine with the same license of the production machines in a isolated network without internet and internal connection. Can we install the same license in the new equipment in a isolated environment without affecting the production equipment?

Jairo Garcia‌,

Your license for RSA Authentication Manager allows you to have a production environment and a dev environment that use the same license file.

Build the Auth Manager 8.1 servers in your isolated environment then upgrade them to Authentication Manager 8.3, making sure you follow the steps in both Appendix A and Appendix B of the RSA Authentication Manager 8.3 Setup and Configuration Guide.

Regards,

Erica
