Allow users to reset their PINs in self-serve console without knowing their current PIN

Hello,

The self-serve console allows users to reset their PIN if they already know their current PIN.

I would like to know if it is possible to allow a user, who has forgotten their current PIN, to reset their PIN through the self-serve console. Is it possible to configure the self-serve console to only ask the user for the new PIN only, and not ask them for their current PIN?

Thanks,

Hello Ali,

if you want to reset the pin for the users, you must do it from the SC, by going to the dashboard of the user, and on the right side you will find the tokens assigned, you will find an option called Clear PIN under the token's Box, just press on it and RESET pin, as in the picture below pin.PNG

In that case the user will create a new pin but from the SSC, the users cannot change their pin without knowing the current one ,

Users can reset their own pins by setting up 'security questions answers' on a prior visit to the Self Service Console, then later if they go to Self Service they do not log in, rather they click troubleshooting link on the right, and can get in and reset things you allow in the Security Console Self Service settings:
