You can have an alphanumeric PIN if you issue the software token as "fob-style". Otherwise no.....the app doesn't do algebra.....has no way of adding a letter into the token. When you enter your pin into the application it basically does an add-no carry addition to the current tokencode to calculate the passcode. Wouldn't be able to calculate and alpha character.
