Authentication Manager 8.3 patch 1 on virtual server

I have some RSA Authentication Managers on virtual machines which I was about to patch to 8.3P1 when the patch download was pulled. This patch is necessary to remediate for CVE-2018-1247, CVE-2018-1248.

As I understand the issue with the patch only applied to hardware appliances, should I go ahead and apply this patch now, or wait for it to be re-issued? I have not seen any timescales published for a re-issue of the patch.

Hi All:

The issue with 8.3 P1 affected only hardware appliance.  It's OK to apply on Virtual Systems the 8.3 P1 previously available if you have downloaded it.
