Backing up virtual appliance to NFS Mount
Hi
What size could we expect to see .RSAbackup files being created?
I'm looking to approximate the storage required for NFS mount
Regards,
David Clarke

Hello David,
The size of the backup depends on your database size, and we cannot get you an exact number. But most probably you are looking for something in 100 M range.
But to be sure you can create a backup locally on the server from the operations console, and then check the size of the backup as it will be created undef /opt/rsa/am/backup.
So kindly check and advise us back if there is any assistance needed from our side.
Best Regards,

On an 8.1 sp1 patch 15 system with 40 users, 2000 tokens
and 10 agents...basically a lightly loaded system....
with one replica and one web tier
my automatic backups are averaging 8.71 MB as seen on
a windows mapped drive, and viewing file size with windows explorer file properties

Edward's response today is more within the lines of my expectation.

David.
