Binding of RSA soft token to a specific device

Our client wants to bind a specific laptop to a RSA soft token to ensure that only authorized user and laptop can use a specific RSA soft token.
We have looked on using the Device Attributes DeviceSerialNumber field to restrict the installation of a token to a device platform or to a specific device. Do we have a generator for DeviceSerialNumber? How can this be obtain other than installing a RSA SecurID Software Token Application?

As indicated on my other replies, on Windows, it is unknowable before the RSA Software Token application is installed.
