I have a existing installation RSA AM 7.1 and the new license version is 8.1, can I install these?
No you cannot use an AM 8.1 license file on AM 7.1.
BTW: AM 7.1 reached end of life in December 2014 and AM 8.1 has also reached end of life

I understand that you cannot use a license from RSA AM 8.1 to 7.1. As Frank Miller indicates, that version is no longer supported.
