Configure security console authentication methods

i want to use passcode to enter into security console.

if i configure below in console authentication, will that work?

"RSA_Password/LDAP_Password/SecurID_Native"

and uncheck "Enable LDAP Password authentication method"

what is the remedy, if after configuring this i am not able to log into security console, is there somewhere i can reset the console authentication method?

Sumit Kumar‌,

If you are looking to have your Security Console admins login to the Security Console with RSA password or LDAP password or RSA SecurID passcode you can set your console authentication to RSA_Password/LDAP_Password/SecurID_Native.  This allows any one of the three options for your users to login successfully.

If you choose the option of using LDAP Password as an authentication method, check the option to Enable LDAP Password authentication method.

Use this article if you need assistance getting back into the Security Console:

The idea is have any one password at any point in time i.e either the security console administrator or operations console administrator so that it can used to reset the password for the other.

If you are using the CLI to create a new super admin due to not having super admin credentials then "YES" the console authentication methods shall get changed to "RSA_Password/LDAP_Password"

The help menu in the Security Console, or Operations Console, explains all these settings you are asking about. For resetting, use search term 'restore admin'.

Thanks everyone.

i have successfully implemented the authentication method using passcode for security console.

thanks for the update, glad to hear it worked
