Do I need to install SecureID Authentication Agent for Java?

Jump to solution
We recently received a message about an SecureID Authentication Agent for Java.
We run an RSA SID Access Virtual Appliance.  We do not develop any Java programs.
Do we need to install this SecureID Authentication Agent for Java?  If so, where does it get installed?

Hello Marcos,

No you do not have to deal with that update.  The Java update was designed only for clients that use a version of SecurID Access call the "SAE" and they are a select group.

You are fine as long as you follow the standard updte and patching process.   That would mean that working towards updating to 8.3 would be the next on your list.

I have already updated the RSA appliance to 8.3.
