Does RSA Via Access support IIS NTLM authentication to applications?

Jump to solution

We're trying to give our end users the ability to connect to our intranet through Via Access.  Our intranet uses IIS NTLM authentication but I haven't seen information on whether Access supports it. So does it support it or is there a plan to support it in the future?

There is an NTLM connector available in RSA Via Access.  This connector operates a lot like the HFED template (credential vaulting & reverse proxy), but rather than negotiating a web-based login form, it negotiates the NTLM authentication ceremony.  I know some customers have used this with Sharepoint -- check out this other post:  https://community.rsa.com/message/868421#comment-868421

I believe the NTLM connector should work with IIS sites that use NTLM-based authentication, as well.  Feel free to add any tips or tricks to this discussion.

Thanks,
