Electronic Software Token
Hello,
Under the RSA electronic software token offering there are 2 types of license schema, perpetual and subscription.
Anybody knows what is the difference between the perpetual and the subscription one.
Thanks.

A perpetual license for RSA SecurID software tokens means that the tokens are valid for a defined term; for example 3 years, 5 years, etc. Before the term elapses, new tokens must be purchased. A subscription license is a pay-as-you-go model.
Deciding which option to choose is based on how you use the product. I would recommend contacting your RSA sales rep or reseller for packaging and pricing questions.

Erica

Could you please help on me that.
If we purchase the perpetual one, what will happen after the license expires? can we use the same tokens after renewal, or the perpetual tokens cant be renewed?
Thanks

I heard from your account rep. He is sending you an email so you can discuss your question about perpetual vs subscription tokens.

Erica
