Factory Reset
We have a brand new 8.3 physical Appliance that I was trying to add as a Replica. It has failed and wants me to factory reset. The blue button at the bottom of the window is not working to reset. I need to know how to do it from the Linux Prompt or which ever way I can.

Since you have physical access to the appliance, I'd suggest downloading the iso of AM 8.3, burning it to a DVD and booting the appliance with the DVD to reinstall it. AFAIK, that's the official "factory reset" for 8.3

I've moved your question to the RSA SecurID Access" data-type="space space where it will be seen by the product's support engineers, other customers and partners. Please bookmark this page and use it when you have product-specific questions.
Alternatively, from the RSA Customer Support" data-type="space page, click on Ask A Question on the blue navigation bar and choose Ask A Product Related Question. From there, scroll to RSA SecurID Access" data-type="space and click Ask A Question. That way your question will appear in the correct space.
Regards,
Erica

Jose is right, it seems more work than the old factory reset button, but it is very adaptable, you get to pick and choose which version of AM to factory reset to by the DVD you burn, instead of being struck at a single usually out-dated version as we saw in AM 7.1, and needing to maintain both the running version and the factory reset versions on the Appliance
