I would recommend that you https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-1294 and open a case for your issue.

I searched our Support database for the message "error: Failed to split secret key into required shares" and found only a few older cases, involving Authentication Manager ver. 7.1 SP4 and problems related to the Master Password, and it becoming corrupt. The Master Password served as the database key back in AM 7.1, so if this is version 8 of authentication manager, this problem is related to the database key, but we do not manipulate it in the same manner that we could manipulate (change) the Master Password with AM 7.1 (with the rsautil command).
I found 1 case in AM 7.1 where resetting the Master Password with
rsautil manage-secrets
fixed this problem, but also found another case where the problem happened after they reset the Master Password and they ended up rebuilding a new system with new database because they were only testing with the current database.

Can you confirm for us the version of Authentication Manager that you are running?
