How to get list of active/current Authentication Agents?

Jump to solution

I've made great use of RSA reports for pulling various information to work with in Excel.  Currently conducting a review of our RSA AM servers and wanted to get a list of Active Authentication Agents, but not seeing a specific report template to capture this info.

I've searched a few of the other report templates to see whether they may capture this information, but not seeing anything I can use so far.

Is there a known method to generate a report of active Authentication Agents?

As an alternative, I was thinking I could:

  1. Generate report of all Authentication Agents
  2. Generate a report for all User Authentication Activity over the past 3 to 6 months, or some acceptable window.
  3. Reconcile agent IPs reported in UAA report with Authentication Agents List, which would indicate the Auth Agents in use

I'm not sure this would cover everything, requires a bit of manual work, and leaves room for error.  Anything else to consider?

It seems like there would be a way I could harvest this info otherwise, and may be missing something simple?

@msg9,

We do not have a report template for active agents. I'd think the best thing to to would be to run an authentication activity report for  the past x number of days/weeks/months then export the data to Excel where you can filter by agent name or IP and by date. You could cross reference against a list of all of the agents you have listed in the Security Console, if you wish.

Best regards,
Erica
