(iOS) Ability to share token file with RSA app not showing up on phone - any ideas?
As title states, my device is not listing the RSA Token app as an option to open the token file which comes through as a sdtid file. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling as well as checking settings, but to with no success. Has anyone experienced this before?

Have you been able to try opening the file in the software token application (instead of having the token launched by the phone)?
Some mobile email interfaces don't support automatically launching a mobile app based on a file extension (such as ".sdtid"). Also, some enterprise MDMs prevent an application from registering as a file extension "handler".

Hi Jordan,
If this is still troubling you, you could consider the TokenConverter tool to convert the STDID file into a QR code or similar.

The very best practice is distribution via CTKIP mechanisms such as via a web tier.

How can I open the file in the Token app? Currently, the .sdtid file is received via email within a MDM container.

Thank you for the reply. I will investigate this method further; however, I would need this method to be scalable for users across our enterprise.

For a scalable solution, I strongly encourage you to consider using an RSA Web Tier and distributing your tokens via CT-KIP. Not only is it more secure than everything you have described thusfar, it is scalable.
