Is it possible to export SecurId Access configuration?

Greetings,

A customer would like to export/back up his configuration, especially access policies? Is this possible? If so, how?

Not possible to back up RSA Securid Auth Manager servers like that.

You can either backup the entire config (operarions console backup file),

which can be used to restore to a new server and rebuild the entire setup such as in a disaster recovery scenario...

-or-

create a flat file of configuration specifics, that can be compared to anther one taken later, to track config

changes (configuration 'drift')  between the two, but this file is nothing that can be 'fed into' a script or used to create an actual configuration.

./rsautil export-config configfile

Thank you for the information. What the customer asks for is not a way to recreate a server but to document the setup.
