Is there a way to downgrade if someone has installed SecurID 3.0 for iPhone?

re: RSA SecurID Authenticate v. 3.0 for iOS app

Hi,

I just saw the email last night advising iPhone users not to upgrade to the 3.0 version of the SecurID app.

Question:  what should they do if they upgraded already?  Is there a way to downgrade?

Thank you,
David Millar

No need to uninstall, but the device now needs to be re-registered in the Cloud as though it were a new device. The intent is after upgrade no need to re-register, but an issue occurred

As a temporary solution, the users can delete their devices in My Page and re-register. Or administrators can delete the users' devices in the Cloud Administration Console, and then instruct the users to re-register.

Solution did not work we are not using Cloud and deleting user from Security Console did not work.
We have multiple New users being onboarded this week and unable to do first time enrolment via QR code.

Hi Cpaine1,

this thread is about the Authenticate App v3. You are probably referring to the SecurID Software Token App v3. Please get in touch with the RSA support so we can address your issue.

Thanks,

Jochen
