You have several good options.
1) Java Admin SDK for AM8 - low-level, feature rich integration API, very broad, version dependent and requires fairly in-depth knowledge of remote objects. Almost no limit to what is possible, but 800 plus low functions with lots of complex object model dependencies
2) AM Prime AMIS (AM Integration Services) - REST web services framework that provides an easy to use, runtime event driven services API integration that is version and platform agnostic, any developer familiar with HTTP and XML should be able to quickly use integrate with RSA Authentication Manager, provides authentication services as well as most common user, token and other functions in a simple, easy to use set of web services. Supports Apache Tomcat, WebLogic and JBOSS application servers
The AM Admin SDK is available on the AM 8.1 Extras DVD

No, actually I had not test it.
I was just checking for the proposal for one of my customer.
