Loads on RSA Secure ID appliance 130

Jump to solution

Is there a way to test loads that are currently on an appliance?  I have one appliance and serving about 1000 users.  We are planing on adding 4000 thousand more users via soft tokens.  Will one appliance take this load.  Any documentation on what one appliance can do will help.

Thank you for your time and help.

quick answer, not a problem, you can have 50,000 users and 50,000 logins occur -at the same time-,

(probably never going to come close to that load in real life, in the space of a few seconds)

and the appliance can handle ~200 authentications per second, if you can send that many per second

to the network interface. so, 5000 users is going to be a light, (or lets say, quite normal) load.
