locking down a Horizon View application server
I installed the RSA agent 7.3.137 on a Windows 2012 R2 server. This server is hosting RDSH applications front ended by VMware Horizon View over PCOIP. In my Citrix environment this setup would prompt a user for a Token when the host application was launched. This is not happening with VMware. DI need to add any special configuration to get users to be challenged when connecting via Horizon View. I am using RSA to add an additional layer of security to a select few apps with access into sensitive areas of my business, while also presenting applications that do not require the added security, so adding dual factor to the entire environment would not be ideal.
Thank you for any assistance.

Horizon View has it's own independent Securid setup that can do two-factor. Review the 'agent implementation guides' guides here to see if you can find a way to make it work for your setup.

RSA has a couple of Implementation Guides for VMView, basically you edit Connection Server Authentication Settings to check
In effect it sounds like VMView stands in from of your apps, so you catch users there for authentication before they see the PCOIP apps.
Have a look at one of the Horizon VM implementation guides, which you can find here on RSA Link
Also startup the Real Time Monitor in the Security Console to see if the Auth request is getting there.
