Jump to solution

Hi Guys,

We are not able to start RSA Auth Manager Service. We checked the below log file and found

/opt/rsa/am/server/logs

console.log file

Caused By: com.rsa.ims.security.keymanager.sys.SystemModificationThresholdException: System was modified beyond the allowed threshold, cannot decrypt.

Any idea??

Regards

Vivek

Vivek,

Hussein El Baz is correct about running the rsautil to recover from the system fingerprint error for Authentication Manager 7.1 and 8.1.

Navigate to /RSA_HOME/utils and run the command ./rsautil manage-secrets -a recover.  You will be prompted for the system's master password in order to run this command.

Please note that if you are using Authentication Manager 7.1, you will also need to navigate to RSA_HOME/radiusoc/utils and run the command again.

Regards,

Erica

Hello,

Please perform the below command under /opt/rsa/am/utils

./rsautil manage-secrets -a recover

This command will reset the fingerprint for the machine.

On some systems when hardware or some system details like the Host name are replaced the system fingerprint will need to be reset. The system fingerprint is a security measure that will prevent the system from starting if anything has changed.

So kindly check and advise us back if there is any assistance needed from our side.

Best Regards,
