Today I hit the "Upgrade" button for my 8.1 product. It correctly took me to the 8.2 Downloads section (downloaded the 8.2 Upgrade Kit and the 8.2 OVA file) but there is no new license file showing. The "License files" tab is empty, and when I manually login to download.rsasecurity.com, it only shows me my 8.1 license.

Should I re-use the 8.1 SP1 license for 8.2? If not, when/how will the new license file be distributed?

PS: I have to admit, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to maneuver between all of those different RSA portals... Especially with things like Upgrading to a new version - all in all you probably need about 3 different sites to get there!

Hi Michiel,  You can use you're 8.1 license for 8.2. Our apologies for the ewnsite confusion. We are trying to make it better.

Thanks Brian - that clears things up indeed! Good to see I won't be needing a new license.

And no worries about the site - I figured this would be the "getting worse" part before it will start getting better
